Who We Are
DB Partners is a firm established to develop, design & build commercial mixed-use properties in growing urban markets.
We have offices in New York City and Austin, TX and have national coverage and experience in ground up mixed use, tenant fitouts, building repositioning, multi-family apartments, hospitality, health care & critical systems.

Arsean Maqami
Managing Partner & CEO
Arsean is a managing partner of DB Partners and is responsible for all aspects of the business and customer satisfaction. The company is driven to seek excellence in delivering quality project experience and outsized returns for our clients. He has a well rounded expertise in full development life cycle from Capital Planning, Real Estate Underwriting, Development, Construction and Operations. Arsean works with the team to deliver the highest quality product for our clients from Concept thru Handover.
Prior to DBP, Arsean has overseen the building of over 1 million square feet of office space in New York and 500 thousand square feet of office space on the West Coast. Arsean launched a general contracting company for WeWork in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. While managing that company Arsean was able to integrate core design-build concepts in the team to improve customer satisfaction while reducing timelines and costs.
Blake Berg
Managing Partner & COO
Blake is a managing partner of DB Partners and is responsible for operations and technology, deploying strategy & resources to help execute successful projects above and beyond industry standard. Blake focuses on ensuring projects deliver on time and under budget while continually improving process. Blake is a driven leader with an expertise in streamlined and fast paced project delivery in all asset classes.
Prior to DB Partners, Blake led WeWork Construction in NYC and developed and deployed technology and operations for a group that delivered nearly 1MM SQ FT across 40 projects in 2019. Prior to WeWork, Blake worked for Turner Construction in NYC and spent time as an Estimator, Project Engineer and Superintendent and spent his off hours developing technology improvements for the construction industry and studying MEP design.
